CAUTION* Moses Bussell and Moses S Bussell have the following CAUTIONARY INFORMATION: Is Moses S the same person as Moses the son of Moses and sister of Martha Bussell who married William Harrell? 
Birth*circa 1770 He was born circa 1770 per son's bio he was a "native-born English gentleman, who settled in Virginia, the Bussell family having been related on the paternal side to the mother of General Washington. From Virginia the family moved to Kentucky". But there is at least one error in the bio, and being related to George Washington is a common story, so take the English gentleman with a grain of salt. In addition, see the CAUTION tag below.1 
Marriage* He married Margaret Howell Her first name proved when she sold Moses land as widow (see deed in 1818). Her surname from a tree on Ancesty so needs verification. According to the tree, she was born 4 Feb 1761 in Fairfax VA and died 14 Feb 1840 in North Bend OH. 
Negative*1800 Moses S Bussell was NOT found in the 1800 census. 
Deed*27 June 1808  On 27 June 1808 at Boone Co., Kentucky: He bought land in Boone KY "on the Ohio River" Begin at Hackberry & White Walnut corner to William Cloud then north 57(1/2?) East 48 poles to Wiched Creek the up the meanders of said creek N 68 E 12 poles then S 69 E 16 poles then N 83 E 15 poles to a Buckeye in Thrustons old line and on the South side of said creek, then with this line N 32 (1/2?) about 102 poles to a Hickory B... and Hackberry on the bank of the Ohio River then down the same S 57 (1/2?) W 80 poles to a Black Locust and Elm Corner to James Marshall then S 32 (1/2?) E 84 poles to the beginning containing 43 1/4 acres. (Plot his land with his neighbors)
     (Margaret sold it as widow in 1818.) 
Census1810*1810 He was the head of the household in the 1810 census, pg 53, Boone Co., Kentucky, with 3m10-15 (John, William, Moses), 1m45+ (Moses), 1f45+ (Margaret). 
(Bondsman) Marriage23 May 1810 He was the bondsman for the marriage of William G Wamsley and Nancy Bussell on 23 May 1810 at Boone Co., Kentucky; (Evd 750) Original marriage bond at Boone Co KY courthouse has original signatures of William Wamsley and Moses S Bussell. Know all men by these presents that we William Wamsley and Moses Bustto [note that's the way it's spelled at this point] are ___ and firmly bound unto The Commonwealth of Kentucky in the penal sum of Fifty pounds current money payable to the said Commonwealth to which payment shall truly to be made we bind our selves each and every of our Heirs Executors and Admrs jointly & severally ___ by these presents sealed & dated this 23rd of May 1820. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a license is desired fro a marriage intended between the said William Wamsley & Nancy Bussell now if it should always hereafter appear that there is no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage then this obligation to be void and to remain in full force & virtue. [signed] William Wamsley, Moses S Bussell. 
Death*1814 Moses S Bussell died in 1814 at Boone Co., Kentucky, Died intestate and dau Nancy inherited some land which she & husband sold 17 Nov 1814.
