Letters of adm were granted to the administrator, "the widow having renounced". Philip's inventory showed he had quite a few things. Also "received in cash of Nicholas Adam" 350 pounds and "received four bonds of Nicholas Adam" in trust for the heirs of the deceased. 200 pounds payable in 7 yearly installments. No interest. Accounts show several people were paid expenses but no familiar names. Vendue list seems to be the list of who got or bought what. Names include Mary Borrel widow, but no other Burrells or Rhineharts. Index to Orphan's Court - Philip Borrel's minor - 5 Nov 1822, appt of guardian bk 6 pg 309 (in pencil) or pg 289 (in ink). Philipis the deceased and Rebecca & Samuel, both upwards of 14, chose Peter Bsazius (sp?) & Michael Ferst to be guardians. Also on same page is petition of Jonathan Heim showing that PHilip Borrel lately died leaving several children, one of whom to wit Susanna Borrels is a minor under 14. Michael Reitz appointed guardian. General Index of Defendants Appearnace Dockets #117 Apr 1812 pg 263 has 2 pages of stuff about Philip (dec'd) land agreement w/Nicholas Adam. |
