(Witness) Census18101810 He is assumed to be one of the household of George L Coffinberry in the 1810 census, Elizabeth, Ohio Co., West Virginia, who has George Lewis 2m0-10 (Nathan & Jacob), 1m26-45 (George), 2f0-10 (Susannah & ?), 1f26-45 (Jane) (next door to wife's father) - Note he is using the Lewis surname at this point. 
(Witness) Census18201820 Nathan L Coffinberry is assumed to be one of the household of George L Coffinberry in the 1820 census, Ludlow, Washington Co., Ohio, who has George Lewis 5m0-10 (Nathan, Jacob, Aaron, George, Benjamin), 1m16-25 (?), 1m26-45 (George), 1f10-16 (Susannah), 1f16-25 (?), 1f26-45 (Jane) wife's father also in Ludlow - note that George is using the Lewis surname at this point.

Biography*circa 1881 Nathan L Coffinberry had a biography: Article from unknown place - Nathan L. Coffinberry, P.O. Sherburnville, son of George L. Coffinberry, a native of West Virginia, was born January 1, 1801, in Tyler County, W Va. He has been united in marriage four times, his present wife being a native of Niagra County, NY. He has seven children, but of these only three are living, Viz., George L., at home, Sithrea J., wife of Harrison Edgerle, residing in Montgomery County, Kansas and Martha E., wife of Charles Halverson, living near Sherburnville. Elder Coffinberry is one of the pioneer preachers of this county and has been a minister fifty-seven years. He came to this county in the fall of 1840, and organized the society of Christians, and for twenty-six years was elder and preacher for the congregation. Among the first members of this church were Ansel Britton and wife, James Smith and wife, John Hayhurst and wife. Elder Coffinberry had only an ordinary education, and left Virginia when he was twenty years of age. He is now in his eighty-second year, only in moderate health, and waiting in his old home, one mile from Sherburnville, for the summons of his Master to come up higher. "Well Done, thou good and faithful servant." circa 1881 at Sherburnville, Kankakee Co., Illinois.
