Marr 2 (Margaret ___) from ca 1830 to 1833 when she died. ? kids.
Marr 3 (Mary ___) from after 1833 to before 1850. There has to be this other marriage since he didn't marry Elvira til after 1850 census and he had son
James in 1840.
Marr 4 (Elvira Rinehart) marr after 1850 when she is with her parents in the census.
     Two male children born 1830-1835 could be either Margaret's or the unknown Mary. Also need to check for further children between James 1840 and John in 1855, though more practically before 1850 census. There is no record so far that there was another marriage between Margaret and Elvira, and although Mary could have been a name for Margaret, Margaret couldn't have been his mother since she died in 1833.

His info on the census included - Pipes, James 52 b.PA laborer (w/father in house of uncle Washington) Children by 1st wife living w/their grandfather George Kent in 1850 census. 
Note* Note(s): 1850 census for Elvira brings me back to square one for James' mother.

I did have a note that I had a copy of a bond signed by James, Washington, & someone named Andrew Lanz. But I no longer can find it, so need to find the bond again. at Franklin Twnshp, Greene Co., Pennsylvania.

Census1870*1870 He appeared on the 1870 census as the head of household, pg 222 #36-36 Waynesburg, Franklin, Greene Co., Pennsylvania, along with John Rinehart Pipes and Elvira Rinehart . His info on the census included Pipes, James 69 b.PA laborer $600-$200.
