In confimation whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the twenty eighth of March 1836. | Deed* | 26 September 1837 | Thomas Johnson sold land on 26 September 1837 at Deed Book F (SLC 1315555) Page 190, Putnam Co, Indiana: This indenture made the twenty-sixth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven between Thomas Johnson of the county of Warren and the state of Illinois of the first part, and Stacey Reeves of the County of Putnam and State of Indiana of the second part, witnesseth [sic] that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said part of the first, has granted bargained, and sold and by their presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Putnam and Sate of Indiana being in the undivided one tenth part of the southeast quarter of section number twenty-seven in township number fifteen, north of range number four west it being the one tenth part of said tract formerly conveyed to me by Simon Spangler and Hannah his wife, heirs of Thomas Johnson deceased. To have and To hold the above described premises hereby sold and conveyed unto the said party Of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever together with all singular the appurtenances there unto belonging in anywise appertaining to his own proper use and behalf and the said party of the first part of his heirs, executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid tract of land with the appurtenances and every part there of to the assigns forever against the legal claim or claims of all person or persons whatsoever.
