Thornton Fleming Ferrell

M, #14832, b. 21 December 1818, d. 11 February 1893
To-Do* On To-Do list: Hypothesis: that Harrison and Thornton are brothers. Work needs to be done in Calhoun county (and Marion county) to prove or disprove.
Linn Baker says: It troubles me that I cannot find out how he came by the land in Marion County that he and Harrison were paying taxes on. Have found no wills, probate records in Monongalia or Marion. I have looked at some chancery records and found nothing either.
I don't have that land record, so that is one specific one to look for.
Related* Thornton Fleming Ferrell and Amy Ferrell are related: In Thornton's pension file, Joseph Cain (husband of Amy Ferrell) stated that he and Thornton grew up together and that his wife was Thornton’s cousin. Since Amy's marriage record says she's the daughter of Robert, that means that Thornton is not.
