Sgt David Keller was a hero, trying to save the life of Richard F Musto (see panel 11e picture in The Wall pics), and was machine-gunned across his back. When being loaded on a chopper to take him to help, the guys in his platoon thought he wouldn&#8217;t make it. Many years later they found that he&#8217;d survived, spending 2 years in Walter Reid Hospital. Being &#8220;in the vicinity&#8221; (DC), we just had to plan for a trip to Philly to see <a href=\"https:\/\/bassettnet.smugmug.com\/Travel-Camping\/2018-Cross-Country\/Misc-friends-and-genealogy-stuff\/i-FVQ4k3C\">him and his wife Maryanna<\/a> (actually in a suburb).
