Marriage*25 January 1818 He married Rachel Baker on 25 January 1818 at Fairfield Co. or Perry Co., Ohio, One of the Ancestry.com sources states they were married in Fairfield Co., OH on Jan. 25, 1815 but the year was crossed out and replaced with the year 1818.1 
Death*22 May 1848 Edward Delong died on 22 May 1848 at Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., Iowa, at age 57 near Beacon.1 
Burial* He was buried at DeLong/DeLlashmutt Cemetery, Garfield Twnshp, Washington Co., Iowa.1
