Death* | 1 July 1907 | Jacob Ash died on 1 July 1907 at age 71 Clarification - At one point I had confusion regarding a death date of 1 Jul 1907 and 24 June 1922. Glen's email said (about Jacob's pension) "Jacobs death is recorded as June 24th, 1922...I'm not sure if this is right, the post mark on the pension letter says " DECEASED, JUNE 24, 1922" but the post mark on the envelope is dated Aug 25th, 1922." Susan's email shed light on the confusion - "I have July 1, 1907 as his death and Rebecca’s as June 24, 1922. I’m guessing that Rebecca (as Mrs. Jacob Ash) continued to collect his pension until the time of her death."1,2 |
