The event was held in honor of Moses Harrell, Sr., who celebrated his eighty-seventh birthday. His age is no so far advanced as to deprive him of the enjoyment of such an occation and he felt very happy to have thus been remembered by his friends. He has been a resident of the county exactly forty-eight years. There were about one hundred and fifty guests in all and among the number were four generations of relatives."
