| Obituary | His obituary: at unknown newspaper, probably in Muncie, James O. Dunlap, 90 MUNCIE - James Oscar Dunlap, 90, Muncie, died Monday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2002, at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Wheeling, Ind., the son of James A. Dunlap and Mary B. Rhinehart Dunlap. Mr dulap lived in the Muncie area for over 65 years. He worked at Warner Gear for over 39 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Warner Gear Sympathy Club and was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed traeling, fishing and working in his garden. Survivors include his wie, Barbara Esther Long Dunlap; they were married on June 20, 969. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Francis Thompson Dunlap, and several brothers and sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in The Meeks Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Ron Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie. Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary 5-7 p.m. Thursday or an hour before services Friday. |
