| Birth* | 16 December 1903 | Doris Marie Rhinehart was born on 16 December 1903 at Indiana Death record says born 17 Jun 1903, obit shows date of 20 Aug 1904. Even using the younger age, she was born prior to her parents Feb 1904 marriage, so it is unlikely that the obit was falsified to save face. I have been unable to find a birth record for either age, and it is unlikely that this mystery of her age will ever be solved. |

Obituary from unknown paper and unknown date says: Doris, infant daughter of Mr & Mrs Lon Rinehart died Saturday morning after a short illness. The funeral was held in the Friends Church Sunday morning. Rev C.M.Brattain in charge. Interment to Brookside Cemetery. Doris Marie Rinehart was born Dec 16, 1903 and died Aug 20, 1904 aged 8 months and 3 days. |
