Marriage*circa 1839 William B Wamsley married Mary Jane Ingram, daughter of Jeremiah Ingram and Lucy Ogben, circa 1839 "grew to manhoood in Hamilton county and after his marriage located at Oxford in Butler county, when he presently moved to Cincinnati"

Census1840*1840 William B Wamsley was the head of the household in the 1840 census, Cincinnati Ward 7, Hamilton Co., Ohio, with William I Walmsly 1m20-30 (Wm) 1f0-5 (Ann Amelia) 1f15-20 (MaryJane) - middle initial looks like I, indexed as D but has to be my Wm as there are no other possibles. 
Residence1843  In 1843 William B Wamsley resided at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. There is a Wm B Wamsley, sash and blind maker, in the 1843 & the 1844 Cincinnati City Directories. Is this he? 
Census18501850 He appeared on the 1850 census as the head of household, pg 265 #5-5, Cleves Town District #69, Hamilton Co., Ohio, along with Mary Jane Ingram, Ann Amelia Wamsley, Mary Eliza Wamsley and William C Wamsley . His info on the census included Wamsley, William B 34 b.IN carpenter $800 land. 
Residence*September 1850  In September 1850 William B Wamsley resided at Hamilton Co., Ohio. Land Record (Evd 749) in Hamilton Co shows that in Sep 1850, he and Mary Jane sold some land he bought (purchase bk 155 pg 96). I have a bad, negative copy. 
Death*1851 He died in 1851 "was serving as sheriff of Hamilton county at the time of his death in 1851."1 
Probate*29 September 1855 His estate was probated on 29 September 1855 at Hamilton Co., Ohio; Adm bk 2 pg 129 #2845 shows 29 Sep 1855 that his widow Mary Jane Wamsley & his brother Samuel Wamsley were apptd admrs of his estate. 
(Witness) Biography1881 He was mentioned in the biography of William G Wamsley: William Maensley (sic) was born in Virginia in 1785, where he married Nancy Bussel. She died, leaving six children, in Miami, in 1822. He came to this State in 1815, but had lived for a time previously in Boone county, Kentucky. His first Ohio settlement was made at North Bend, on the farm now the property of Charles Short. In politics he was an Old Line whig. He died in Ripley, Indiana, in 1837. He had six children: James, at present in Texas; Moses B., now married to Eunice Hayes; John B.(sic, William B., married to Mary J. Ingraham; Eliza, the wife of David Jones, of Indiana; Samuel, married to Catharine Gronendike; and Stephen W., married to Mary Vangorder, and a resident of Indiana at the present time. in 1881.3
