| Obituary | His obituary: CAMDEN — Gerald M. Graham, 73, of North Street, passed away July 11, 2010 at Sunset Nursing Home, with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 8, 1937 in Florence N.Y., a son of Ernest and Beulah Nelson Graham. Gerald graduated from Camden High School in 1956. On June 22, 1957, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Olmstead in Camden. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1960-1962. He was employed by Navelli Motors, Graham’s Sales and Service, Omega Wire and Camden Central School district, retiring in 1993. Gerald had many hobbies which included fishing, hunting, bowling, horseshoes and camping at Panther Lake for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; a brother, Ted and Carla Graham of Edgewater, FL; one sister-in-law, Ida and Bucky Fox of Cleveland; two brothers-in-law, Nathan and Mary Lou Olmstead of Newark N.Y. and Ronald and Cynthia Olmstead of Marcellus N.Y; and several nieces and nephews, who were the joy of his life. Gerald was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and Ernest Graham. Many thanks to the Sunset Nursing Home staff for the compassionate care provided to Gerry and his family. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden N.Y. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Camden Volunteer Fire Dept., 14 Church Street, Camden N.Y. 13316.2 |
