This was the first newspaper published in what became Arizona. On that first day of publication, the following marriage was reported: Married: At Calabasas Rancho, on the 18th February, by J. Ricord, Esq., Notary Public, Mr.- BoydtoMissSarah Sutton, both of Calabasas.1
