My father was raised by his grandfather William Osburn Chastain SEARCY (my Great Grandfather). My father was legally adopted by his grandfather who died when my father was 17. William Osburn Chastain SEARCY 's mother was Temperance Caroline PRICE.(my 2nd great grandmother) born 15 April 1829 possibly in North Carolina.
