Stacy Reeves1

M, #16349
Birth* Stacy Reeves was born.1
(MentionedIn) Probate13 November 1833 He was mentioned in a probate of Walter Wright on 13 November 1833 at Putnam Co., Indiana. he was one of the appraisers; Mary Wright, Hosea Wright and Mitchell Lee are named as "heirs, executors, and administrators" for Walter Wright's estate
16 Nov 1833 the inventory of the esate was done.
13 Dec 1833 there was a sale of estate items
28 Dec 1833 the list of buys at the sale were entered into the probate records. Buyers included Hannah Johnson, Asahel Johnson, and Hosea Johnson.
11 Feb 1834, the inventory is filed by appraisers John Hulot and Stacy Reeves.
13 May 1835 bills due for the estate are filed and one is for a note owed to J.W. Cunningham.
23 Sept 1837 Mary Wright of Warren County, IL sells the property to Mitchell Lee. This property was originally bought from Nathan Robinson 23 July 1831.
While this was going on there was also many entries about guardianship over the two "infants". I have found that that term actually meant minor children under 21. So who knows how old they were but the kids were listed as Olivia W Wright and Ann Elizabeth Wright. Mitchell Lee was first appointed guardian then eventually Mary was appointed on her own (12 May 1835).
I can't find any trace of Olivia or Ann Elizabeth (the kids in the probate record) after the 1840. I do believe those two kids are part of Asahel's large enumeration in the IL 1840 census. I really do think they were infants in 1833 so they probably would have been married by the 1850 census. Still I don't find a record of either getting married in IL and those records are all on-line. Well, except those that were never recorded. :) Same with Mary Wright. After the 1840 (I think she is in that enumeration as well) I find nothing more about her. Of course Mary could have died too. If she did and if she is in the same plot with Hannah, Joseph and the gang, then there is no head stone..1
