Birth*27 February 1815 Jacob Rhinehart was born on 27 February 1815 at Probably, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, Supposedly born near Monegahala River. 
Marriage*29 August 1847 He married Julia Ann Ervin, daughter of James Irwin Jr and Nancy Ann Harrell, on 29 August 1847 at Butler Co., Ohio, Have marriage cert (Evd 149). Entrie #149 - Married on the 29th day of August 1847 by Thos. H. Wilkins Esquire a Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid, Jacob Rinehart and Julia Ann Irwin.
     Geneva Erwin Stech said (w/o a source) that "Julia met Jacob while he was working on The Canal in Ohio. Julia was visiting in Ohio. She was possibly with her brother Alex. She was 15 when married Jacob." 
Census1850*1850 Jacob Rhinehart appeared on the 1850 census as the head of household, pg 255b #661-683, Fairfield, Butler Co., Ohio along with William Frederick Rhinehart, Nancy Ann Rhinehart and Julia Ann Ervin . His info on the census included Rhineheart, Jacob 35 b.PA, laborer, can't read or write, no land. 
Census1860*1860 Jacob Rhinehart appeared on the 1860 census as the head of household, pg 136 #987-912, Laurel, Franklin Co., Indiana along with William Frederick Rhinehart, James Ervin Rhinehart, Robert Edward Rhinehart, Martha E Rhinehart, John R Rhinehart (twin), Ann Rebecca Rhinehart (twin) and Julia Ann Ervin . His info on the census included Rinehart, Jacob 44 b.PA farm laborer.

Marriage*24 November 1886 Jacob Rhinehart married Mary Vincent, daughter of John W Vincent and Priscilla Denton, on 24 November 1886 at Grant Co., Indiana, the following info is found in marriage vol 2 bk 8 pg 87 - and Record of Returns bk ? record 15.
Jacob Rinehart resides Grant Co IN age 65 [sic] white farmer b.Northumberland Co PA, parents Frederick Rinehart & Catharine Burl [with second R written in about the R in Burl], second marriage.
Mary E Parish maiden name Vincent resides Marion IN age 52 white b.Green Co. OH, parents John W Vincent and Priscilla Denton, second marriage
Married 24 Nov 1886 by Mary C Baldwin [unusual, a female married them?]
An unremembered source had said that Jacob remarried, moved to Wheeling and died there which is what led to the discovery of this marriage. (though Wheeling is in Delaware county).
 
Death*21 February 1890 Jacob Rhinehart died on 21 February 1890 at Indiana at age 74 (death per reunion book???).
