Census1860*1860 Sarah Jenkins appeared on the 1860 census as the head of household, an unknown place . Her info on the census included Not found - even taking names of neighbors from 1850, and couldn't find them either. Maybe census taker missed that section??? Kathryn Bassett also searched Heritage Quest Online for all 80-90 year olds in Monongalia Co and nothing even close to the Kile name showed up.1 
Death*24 September 1861 She died on 24 September 1861 at Laurel Iron Works, Cheat Neck, Monongalia Co., West Virginia, at age 76 date from tombstone, which says age 76y 5m 11d, and wife of James Kile.2 
Burial* She was buried at Zion Meth Cemetery-Jenkins Plot, Cheat Neck, Monongalia Co., West Virginia.
