Henry Peckenpaugh

M, #14200, b. 14 February 1782
Birth*14 February 1782 Henry Peckenpaugh was born on 14 February 1782.
(Witness) Deed7 August 1799 How is he connected to the Spanglers of the deed of Margaret (__________) on 7 August 1799 at Jefferson Co., Kentucky; John & Margaret Abbott to David Spangler, 100 acres, being part of the land held in right of the dower of Margaret as widow and relict of William Spangler.
It appears that John & Margaret Abbott left their older children in Kentucky. Milly may have become acquainted with Peter Peckinpaugh through Henry Peckinpaugh, Peter's uncle, though only 4 years older, who was married to Catherine Spangler.
The book also says "How, or whether Catherine Spangler was related to William Spangler is not known. She was the daughter of George & Mary C Spangler, and married Henry 17 May 1804 in Jefferson Co KY." However, the Catherine who married Henry is the daughter of William & Margaret, not a George & Mary.1
Marriage*17 May 1804 Henry Peckenpaugh married Catherine Spangler, daughter of George Spangler (b.ca 1764) and Mary (__________), on 17 May 1804 at Jefferson Co., Kentucky, http://www.txdirect.net/users/spangler/g0003641.html#I9964 no longer exists, but when it did, it showed Catherine as William's daughter, not George's.
