Birth*26 July 1768 Hannah (__________) was born on 26 July 1768 at Pennsylvania (state per 1850 census.)2
Marriage* She married Thomas Johnson, son of (__________) Johnson and (__________) (__________)
(Witness) Census18201820 Hannah (__________) is assumed to be one of the household of Thomas Johnson in the 1820 census, Nicholas Co., Kentucky, who has 2m0-10 (1810-1820, Asahel & Thomas)
1m16-26 (1794-1804, Joseph)
1m45+ (before 1775, Thomas)
1f0-10 (1810-1820, Betsy)
2f10-16 (1804-1810, Susan, Ruth & Polly but which is missing?)
3f16-26 (1794-1804, Hannah, Rachel, Nancy)
1f45+ (before 1775, Hannah)
2 in agriculture (Joseph & Thomas).
MovedTo1827 Hannah (__________) moved to Putnam Co., Indiana, in 1827 Probably only Hannah and the children moved, as son Asahel's obit says they moved in 1827. Daughter Hannah's marriage record in Jefferson Co. KY shows her father as deceased so Thomas' death is probably what precipitated the move.3
(Witness) Census18301830 She is assumed to be one of the household of Joseph G Johnson in the 1830 census, pg 204, Putnam Co., Indiana, who has Joseph Johnson: 1m10-15 (probably Nancy's son Allen), 1m15-20 (Asahel), 1m20-30 (Thomas), 1m30-40 (Joseph), 1f20-30 (Rachel), 1f30-40 (Nancy), 1f60-70 (Hannah).
(MentionedIn) Probate13 November 1833 Hannah (__________) was mentioned in a probate of Walter Wright on 13 November 1833 at Putnam Co., Indiana. she was one of the buyers at the estate sale; Mary Wright, Hosea Wright and Mitchell Lee are named as "heirs, executors, and administrators" for Walter Wright's estate
16 Nov 1833 the inventory of the esate was done.
13 Dec 1833 there was a sale of estate items
28 Dec 1833 the list of buys at the sale were entered into the probate records. Buyers included Hannah Johnson, Asahel Johnson, and Hosea Johnson.
11 Feb 1834, the inventory is filed by appraisers John Hulot and Stacy Reeves.
13 May 1835 bills due for the estate are filed and one is for a note owed to J.W. Cunningham.
23 Sept 1837 Mary Wright of Warren County, IL sells the property to Mitchell Lee. This property was originally bought from Nathan Robinson 23 July 1831.
While this was going on there was also many entries about guardianship over the two "infants". I have found that that term actually meant minor children under 21. So who knows how old they were but the kids were listed as Olivia W Wright and Ann Elizabeth Wright. Mitchell Lee was first appointed guardian then eventually Mary was appointed on her own (12 May 1835).
I can't find any trace of Olivia or Ann Elizabeth (the kids in the probate record) after the 1840. I do believe those two kids are part of Asahel's large enumeration in the IL 1840 census. I really do think they were infants in 1833 so they probably would have been married by the 1850 census. Still I don't find a record of either getting married in IL and those records are all on-line. Well, except those that were never recorded. :) Same with Mary Wright. After the 1840 (I think she is in that enumeration as well) I find nothing more about her. Of course Mary could have died too. If she did and if she is in the same plot with Hannah, Joseph and the gang, then there is no head stone..1
Event-Misc24 August 1837  On 24 August 1837 at Illinois Hannah (__________) had the following misc event: Hannah Johnson of Warren Co IL(in the presence of Mary Wright)sold her share of land in Putnam County by signing papers at the McDonough County, IL courthouse. They signed 24 August 1837.(Deed bk F pg 193-4.)1
(Witness) Census18401840 She is assumed to be one of the household of Asahel Johnson in the 1840 census, Ward 4, Warren Co. (later Henderson Co.), Illinois, who has 1m20-30 1m40-50 1f0-5 3f5-10 1f10-15 2f20-30 1f30-40 1f40-50 1f70-80 Angela said: "I am pretty sure that none of the folks with Asahel are Mary Loretta Mudd's family as they were all in Missouri by then. Warren county became Henderson County right after the census so Asahel had a county line change occur rather than a move." Later she said "I have just about figured out who is in the Asahel Johnson household in the 1840 Warren County census. The men would be Asahel and Joseph. There was 12 females. So far I figure they are: Hannah, Nancy, Mary, Ruth Ann, Mary Loretta (Asahel's wife), Virginia (Asahel's daughter) plus six more. I am still working on the six more part!!".1
