Marriage*25 October 1827 She married Samuel C Bassett, son of Samuel Chipman Bassett and Temperence Loveland, on 25 October 1827 at Athens Co., Ohio, Have marr record (Evd 502).

Her info on the census included - Bassett, Esther 41 b.VT Husband's & her birthplaces are switched on this census. His says OH, hers VT. s/b other way around. Confirmed by 1860 census. 
Death*5 September 1857 Esther Bodwell died on 5 September 1857 at Alexander Twnshp, Athens Co., Ohio, at age 49. 
Burial* She was buried at Bassett Cemetery, Athens Co., Ohio (Have picture).
